What A Cookie Does Here
Most of the cookies below exist so that signing in works and so that a form you submit is accepted. Those are strictly necessary: without them the product cannot keep you logged in or tell a real submission from a forged one, and they are set whether or not you consent, because there is no version of the site that works without them.
Two categories are not necessary. Analytics tells us which pages do the work. Advertising tells us whether an ad led to a signup. Those are the ones consent governs.

Consent, And Who Is Asked
If you are visiting from the EEA, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, no analytics or advertising cookie is set and no measurement signal is sent until you choose. That is enforced through Google Consent Mode, which holds the tags rather than merely hiding a banner over them, so declining actually stops the data leaving your browser.
Elsewhere, analytics and ad measurement run by default and you can turn them off at any time using the link below. We also honor the Global Privacy Control signal: if your browser sends it, advertising and personalization are switched off before you are asked anything, wherever you are.
Your choice is stored in a cookie named opvii_consent for six months, which is itself strictly necessary, because the alternative is asking you again on every page.
Changing Your Mind
Select Manage Cookies in the footer of any page to reopen the choice and change it. The change takes effect immediately on the page you are on, with no sign-in and no email required.
You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the strictly necessary ones will stop you signing in, which is a limitation of how sessions work rather than a choice we made.
What We Do Not Do
We have never sold personal information and we do not. Nothing here is funded by passing your data on.
Sharing is a narrower word, and the honest answer differs by page. Inside a workspace, the attendee portal and every signed-in page there is no analytics tag and no advertising tag at all, so nothing is shared. On these public marketing pages we run analytics and ad measurement, which in California is most sensibly treated as sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we would rather say so than rely on a narrow reading in our own favor.
Select Your Privacy Choices in the footer to switch it off, or send a Global Privacy Control signal and we switch it off before asking. The California notice at /california sets out the rest.
